Exhibiting this September at Potato Europe 2022

This year we are delighted to again be exhibiting at Potato Europe, which this year is being held in Germany, at Rittergut Bockerode near Hanover on September 7th and 8th, 2022. 

The show is the leading meeting place for those in the Potato Industry, with an exhibition and demonstration area covering over 30 hectares of arable land.   At Clifton Rubber we see it as key event in our event calendar and have taken a stand for many years to showcase our range of rubber and polyurethane components.

Our products are used in a wide range of plant and equipment predominantly in the root crop sector. Technology in use with our products include stone separators, planters, cultivators, harvesters, and handling equipment such as hoppers, graders and fillers.

Our products include stars and discs, web drives, sponge products, rollers, segments and coils, pintle products, wheels and tyres.   In addition to our universal products, we are also able to work with our customers to manufacture bespoke products for new or existing applications.

We will be on Stand ZB12 at the Show where Phil and Andrew will be there to greet you.

A Golfing Marathon for Our Tom

Our Sales Executive Tom Carman is taking part in Big Golf Race on the 17th June 2022 in memory of his father who passed away from prostate cancer in February. 

This involves 4 rounds (72 holes) of golf to be played in 1 day equating to 26 miles! Tom will be setting off at 4.30am and hopes to finish before it gets dark. 

The event will be held at Cambridge Meridian Golf Club

An impressive challenge to undertake! We wish Tom all the best and will fill you in on his progress after the event.

LAMMA will celebrate its 40th anniversary on 4-5 May at the NEC Birmingham. It is the UK’s leading agricultural machinery, equipment and technology show attracting over 40,000 visitors.

Delighted to Sponsor the Grange Valley Amusements Crown Green Bowling Tour

We are delighted to be sponsoring the final of the Grange Valley Amusements Crown Green Bowling Tour, taking place this Sunday at Bar Lane Bowling Club in Bolton.

The Competition has been played over four qualifiers. We have been to Spen Victoria in cleckheaton, Lune Road in Lancaster, Garswood Hall in Ashton in Mackerfield and Stockingford in Nuneaton.

Eight players qualified from each venue and now the best 32 players meet at Bar Lane on Sunday. This is a huge £5,500 prize pot and the winner will take away £1000 and the Grange Valley Amusements Glass Trophy.

We wish all the players the best of luck and look forward to sharing some pictures of the event and a video with you next week.

We always encourage customer feedback and want to provide them with the best product for their needs.  Our Engineers have created new moulds and a made improvements to the material used, which help to overcome some minor issues highlighted with the existing range.

These recent developments to our de-stoning components have been welcomed my many of our regular customers.
