Clifton Rubber is a manufacturer of Rubber and Polyurethane components, supplying companies in various industries worldwide.

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our busy sales team based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.  As a Sales Executive you will work to grow the business by building successful, long-term client relationships while also generating new sales leads.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a sales executive or similar role within a sales team
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Office365 programmes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude

Other:

  • 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1-hour lunch
  • 20 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
  • On-Site Parking
  • Pool or Rental Cars available for client visits when required
  • Newly refurbished sales offices
  • Salary negotiable subject to experience

Job Responsibilities:

Manage new and existing customer accounts

Develop positive relationships with customers

Act as the customer’s point of contact

Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks

Resolve issues and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner

Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Represent the company at trade exhibitions in the UK and EU.

Advise on product development projects
